The Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars playoff game was great for a host of reasons, but for some, one reason it wasn't was due to Tony Romo's performance on the CBS broadcast.
Many were critical of Romo's performance, and this has become a regular thing for the former Dallas Cowboy, but he's used to that level of criticism.
But now we know why Tony had an off day in Jacksonville.
He and several members of the crew were sick.
"Oh yeah, we had a bunch of guys sick, we were just grinding through it, but you're not gonna miss a playoff game, it's too much fun," Romo said in a chat with SiriusXM’s Adam Schein.
So, there we have it. A reason for the performance of Romo.
Does that make it better? Likely not. But all eyes will be on CBS's next broadcast to see if things change.

Bills face monster Denver showdown
This might be the best game of the weekend, and yes, CBS will be on the call.
Josh Allen and Bo Nix will go toe-to-toe with the Bills having a crisis at receiver.
Gabe Davis and Tyrell Shavers are out with ACL injuries, which means the recently activated Curtis Samuel could feature.
With this Broncos team standing in Buffalo's way, if Allen can get past the NFL's best defense, there's a real chance he can take the Bills all the way to the Super Bowl.
It won't be easy, but it's doable.
And if Josh does, let's hope Romo is superb on the call.
