Sean McDermott offers perfect Bills message ahead of playoffs image

The Buffalo Bills are beginning to hit form at the right time of the year after a 23-20 win over the Cleveland Browns.

It now marks five wins in their last six games and four on the bounce for the 11-4 Bills, with two games left to get themselves into a great position for the postseason.

But there is a delicate balance between staying where your feet are and looking ahead to what might be, given that the playoffs are so close.

With that in mind, what is Sean McDermott's message to the team as they continue to stack wins at a crucial time in the season?

“You want to make sure that you're winning games all the while, week to week, that we're improving as a football team, we're being honest with ourselves of yes, we do have quite a bit of work to do and things to work on,” McDermott said. “Our players, they're wired that way. They know it wasn't all perfect yesterday, and it wasn't the week before either.

"They come to work every day extremely focused and intent on trying to improve. So I think that's the key to all this is big picture perspective, yet at the same time just being present day-to-day and how we can improve as a team.”

Can Josh Allen finally break through?

At the time of writing, Josh Allen looms as the only "big fish" quarterback-wise that is in the playoffs.

Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow are already out, and Lamar Jackson is teetering on the edge, if not out as well.

That leaves No. 17 as the top dog in the AFC.

Can this be the year that it all comes together and Buffalo can win its first-ever Super Bowl?

You get the sense that if it isn't now, then when will Allen have a better chance, given his rivals are all out of contention?

If there ever was a perfect time to strike for No. 17, that time has come.
