The Buffalo Bills have had no shortage of issues at wide receiver this season and one of them has reared its ugly head before the wild-card game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Bills announced that not only was wide receiver Joshua Palmer ruled out for the playoff game versus the Jaguars, but he has also been placed on injured reserve due to his ankle injury, which will end his season.

It was a very disappointing campaign for Palmer, who was signed to a three-year, $29 million deal but was plagued by injury and ineffective play.

But Palmer hasn't been the only disappointment for the Bills at wide receiver, with second-year wideout Keon Coleman falling in the same boat despite having a clear path to a role and production in 2025.

Coleman has been a healthy scratch multiple times this season, but will he see the field for Buffalo on Sunday? Here's the latest on that.

Is Keon Coleman playing today?

Yes, Coleman is expected to be active for Buffalo's playoff game versus the Jags, and NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe adds he "could" have a role, also.

"I’m told WR Keon Coleman is expected to be active tomorrow and could play a role for offense that needs playmakers to step up," Wolfe reported.

Unfortunately, expecting anything out of Coleman would be expecting too much at this point.

After garnering a ton of hype in the offseason, Coleman has not come close to living up to expectations during the regular season, tallying 38 catches for 404 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games.

Those four missed games weren't because of injury but rather because Coleman has been benched by head coach Sean McDermott.

Two times were for disciplinary reasons, while the other two times were a result of the Bills simply wanting to carry a different wide receiver over him for special teams value.

That's how far Coleman has fallen this season, but he has a chance to right the ship if he can post a strong playoff performance that helps Buffalo advance past the Jaguars on Sunday.
