The Buffalo Bills suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday night in a 23-20 defeat at the hands of the New England Patriots. The loss also marked the Bills' first home loss since the 2023 season, which was also the final year of Stefon Diggs in a Bills uniform.

Diggs made his return to Buffalo, and did so in a big way. The All-Pro receiver had 10 catches for 146 yards. It marked the second time the Bills have faced Diggs since trading him to the Houston Texans. Buffalo lost to the Texans in Houston last year, also by the score of 23-20.

After the game, Diggs and Josh Allen shared a long hug, as well as obvious words of respect before going their separate ways. It was a refreshing sight after a year and a half of toxic discourse on what the relationship between the two had become. And while they are no longer teammates, it's clear that there is still a lot of mutual admiration and love between the two.

The Bills will hit the road in Week 6 where they will take on the Atlanta Falcons next Monday night.
