The Buffalo Bills overcame a 21-0 deficit to defeat the New England Patriots, evening the season series between the two teams while also keeping the Bills alive in the AFC East race. Now at 10-4, the Bills are just one game behind New England in the division standings.
Buffalo doesn't accomplish the comeback without yet another absurd performance from their All-World quarterback Josh Allen. The defending MVP threw three touchdowns and ran for an additional 48 yards, and he now has 37 total touchdowns on the season. With three more scores, he will extend his own record of consecutive 40-touchdown seasons to six. It was what happened on the sideline late in the game that caught everyone's attention, though.
In the fourth quarter, cameras caught Allen throwing up on the sideline. He didn't miss any time, nor did he appear to be sick before or after the fact. Allen was asked about this after the game, to which he said it happens every week.
"It basically happens every game," Allen said via Dan Fetes. "If I don't get enough out pregame, it usually happens at halftime. If I don't get enough out at halftime, it usually happens in the third or fourth quarter. I don't know why I do it, it just happens... Just gotta get it out."
The Bills will take on the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland in Week 16. They've had snow in each of their last two contests, and there is a good chance that number will climb to three when they play just off the banks of Lake Erie.
