Josh Allen praises second-year defender for high-IQ play in Week 4 image

The Buffalo Bills are looking to start the season 5-0 as they gear up for their first of two matchups with the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. Ahead of that, though, Josh Allen joined "Rear View" for the NFL on Fox social media pages to break down a play that helped turn the tide in the Bills' Week 4 win over the Saints.

Second-year safety Cole Bishop beautifully read a trick play by New Orleans. The Saints ran a reverse that saw quarterback Spencer Rattler leak out as a receiver, and Chris Olave threw the ball to a seemingly-open Rattler at the goal line. Bishop saw the setup happening and made a beeline for Rattler, picking off the pass and getting a nice return on the interception to crush any chance of the Saints scoring.

”He sees [Chris] Olave come in motion," Allen said via NFL on Fox. "He’s running all the way across the field. As he recognizes that it’s a trick play pass, he tracks the ball in the air and makes a one-handed interception and that takes points away.”

Bishop had a rocky rookie season plagued with injuries, but is slowly coming into his own in Buffalo's defense.
