The Buffalo Bills can't win the AFC East Division, and they've already clinched a playoff spot.
How much do they care about their specific wild card seed? We'll find out with what their plans are for QB Josh Allen's playing status in Week 18 against the New York Jets.
Allen hurt his right foot/ankle a couple weeks ago, and he played through it in a one-point loss to the Eagles in Week 17.
Buffalo knows it'll be playing on Wild Card Weekend of the playoffs, so if it wanted to rest Allen, it would have to be now.
Allen is backed up by Mitchell Trubisky, and what the Bills decide to do here could be a key call for their Super Bowl chances.

Is Josh Allen playing Week 18?
The Bills have not yet officially made a determination on Allen's Week 18 status.
Earlier this week, a beat reporter suggested Allen would sit.
The Bills have not followed a consistent pattern through the years on this. In one instance, Allen took just the first snap to keep his consecutive games played streak alive. In others, he has played much longer in the final week of the regular season.
The Bills' chances of winning a Super Bowl, of course, rest more with Allen than with anyone else. If he were to get hurt, that would be that for hopes of the Lombardi Trophy.
So most logic suggests sitting Allen, for most if not all of Week 18. That's especially true against the Jets, who the Bills could still beat with Trubisky playing.
But we'll have to wait to see if the Bills reveal any of their plans on this as the week goes along.
