Buffalo Bills fans got a scare just before halftime a week ago. Josh Allen limped away to the locker room.
Allen came back to play the second half, but there was still some concern heading into Week 17 and preparation for the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Bills need Allen on the field as they try to chase down the AFC East. And they certainly need him healthy for the playoffs.
Mitchell Trubisky is Allen's backup, if it ever came to that, a competent player but certainly no reigning MVP.
The news for Sunday ends up being OK, though, fan fans can take a deep breath.

Is Josh Allen playing today?
Yes, Josh Allen is set to start on Sunday against the Eagles.
The words used by the end of the week by the Bills are that Allen is "good to go."
We'll have to keep an eye out to see if Allen is full throttle or if he limits his movement just a little bit. And if there's any re-injury at any point, the Bills would likely be quite cautious.
But for now, all systems go for Allen and the Bills for what should be an exciting matchup with the Eagles and Jalen Hurts.
