Josh Allen has perfect answer to Bills WR crisis image

At this rate, some of Bills Mafia might be called on to play receiver for the Buffalo Bills against the Denver Broncos in the divisional round of the playoffs.

Having lost both Gabe Davis and Tyrell Shavers to ACL injuries, Josh Allen's weapons have been gutted.

Now, he only has a couple of weapons to attack Denver's vaunted defense with. And that isn't ideal.

Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Brandin Cooks will be Allen's go-to guys (maybe Curtis Samuel), along with tight ends Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox.

Heading into the biggest game of the season, with half of your weapons from the previous week isn't a great spot to be, but Allen had the perfect response to it.

“Obviously, not an ideal situation, but I still trust that room completely,” Allen said. “Whoever we bring up needs to step up, and we have full confidence that they will. This week is going to be very important throughout the practices that we have of making sure that we're getting on the same page with timing and just understanding where guys can go.

"Try to utilize their strengths to the best of our abilities. But I got no doubt that whoever is going to be up in those spots is going to do their job, step up and help us win, or help us make plays.”

Keon Coleman's redemption moment has come

It's been an indifferent season for Keon: disciplined, missing games, and then a healthy scratch. Then, when he was active, he didn't produce.

In his last two games, though, 49 and 36 yards from Coleman show that he can produce on the field.

He just has to do it consistently, and now, if he doesn't, Buffalo's season could end.

Allen can only go to Shakir so many times before Denver takes him away. James Cook can only do so much.

Keon has to be a factor in the passing game.

And if he is, the narrative around him might change rather quickly.

The Bills are losing weapons, but in Coleman, they might find their saving grace in the biggest spot of the year.
