The Buffalo Bills are set to host the Philadelphia Eagles in a highly anticipated Week 17 matchup between two of the best teams in football, and quarterback Josh Allen's status has been up in the air all week.

Allen has been dealing with a foot injury, which caused him to be a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. The star quarterback suffered the foot injury during last week's victory over the Cleveland Browns.

Though Allen hasn't been able to practice at a full capacity in practice this week, it looks like the veteran signal-caller will be on the field for the Bills on Sunday versus the Eagles.

Will Josh Allen play in Week 17?

Yes, Allen is expected to play in Week 17 against Philadelphia. During an appearance on WGR 550 on Friday, Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott stated that Allen is trending in the right direction and will be ready to roll on Sunday.

"Coach McDermott on WGR550 said that Josh Allen (foot) has gotten better each day this week, is trending in the right direction and will be ready to play on Sunday," Bills reporter Chris Brown said on X.

McDermott also stated that he doesn't expect Allen to have any limitations, so it's clear that the foot has improved.

"McDermott: the foot soreness for Josh Allen has dissipated through the week and we don’t anticipate any limitations for him on Sunday," Brown added on X.

It's great news that Allen is back healthy and will play versus the Eagles. The Bills need their face of the franchise at 100% heading into the postseason.
