Gabe Davis injury update: Latest news on Bills WR's knee injury is Buffalo's nightmare image

The Buffalo Bills vanquished their road playoff demons in a 27-24 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, but it came at a price.

And the Bills are paying heavily for it.

Receiver Gabe Davis exited the game with a knee injury in the second half, forcing Allen to do things himself and will his team to a win.

We didn't know the extent of Gabe's injury, but we do now.

Gabe Davis injury update

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport posted on X that head coach Sean McDermott confirmed it is an ACL injury for Davis.

Yuck.

With Davis now out, it could force offensive coordinator Joe Brady to get creative with how he uses his weapons.

It could also mean a reprieve for Keon Coleman, while others like Brandin Cooks and Tyrell Shavers could be set for bigger roles.

Rapoport also stated that Curtis Samuel is in line to return to practice this week, so maybe Samuel might have to play in the divisional round.

Receiver was already a problematic position for Buffalo. It is even more so now.
