Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, for some, has played himself back into the MVP conversation in the past two weeks, with Superman returning in wins over the Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots.
At 10-4, and in the thick of the AFC East battle and with a chance to clinch a playoff spot in Week 16, Allen and Buffalo are hitting form at the right time.
And for the defending MVP winner, he is now seeing his name move up Nick Shook's latest quarterback rankings for NFL.com.
Allen, after 15 weeks, is now up to No. 2, behind only Matthew Stafford, a player many think is the MVP favorite.
"Josh Allen is on a heater, folks," Shook wrote. "He powered an incredible second-half comeback in New England that prevented the Patriots from securing the AFC East title and sent a message to the rest of the conference. The Chiefs may be out, but Allen has returned to the peak of his powers and is embarking on a mission."

Could Allen win back-to-back MVPs?
He could, and you never know which way the voters will go, as last year, many thought Lamar Jackson should have won the award.
But this season, personally speaking, Stafford has been better.
Yes, Allen has had his great moments, and perhaps we are in a little bit of a prisoner of the moment here with him now after the past two weeks, but Josh hasn't been as consistent as Stafford through 15 weeks.
Now, that doesn't mean Allen won't or can't win the MVP award this season, but I get the feeling he's up against it.
Could impressive performances in the final three games see Josh claim back-to-back MVPs? Even that might not be enough to overtake Stafford.
