The Buffalo Bills are keeping a close eye on wide receiver Khalil Shakir and tight end Dalton Schultz ahead of their Week 11 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Shakir and Kincaid are both on the injury report this week. Shakir is dealing with ankle and rib injuries, while Kincaid is battling a hamstring issue.
The Bills dropped their Thursday injury report and it revealed that there was no change in the participation levels of Shakir or Kincaid.
For the second straight day, Kincaid was a non-participant and Shakir was limited, which is troubling news for Buffalo considering the two players are their best pass-catchers this season.
While Shakir appears to still have a chance to suit up, Kincaid is almost certain to sit out based on a report from NFL insider Jordan Schultz, who noted that Kincaid is considered week-to-week with his hamstring issue.
"Sources: Bills TE Dalton Kincaid is considered week-to-week with a hamstring injury suffered Sunday vs the Dolphins," Schultz reported earlier in the week.
That not only opens the door for Kincaid to sit out this week, he could be out multiple games.
If Kincaid sits, the Bills will deploy Dawson Knox as their No. 1 tight end, with rookie Jackson Hawes filling in behind him.
Shakir's absence would mean the Bills need more out of Keon Coleman and Joshua Palmer, who looks set to return from injury after being a full participant on Wednesday and Thursday.
Considering the disappointing seasons Coleman and Palmer have had thus far, being heavily reliant on either one is a scary proposition.
The Bills will log their final practice of the week on Friday, so we'll get the official injury designations for Kincaid and Coleman then.
