The Buffalo Bills have a major injury concern with tight end Dalton Kincaid as we turn the page to Week 11 of the 2025 NFL season.
Kincaid exited the Week 10 game against the Miami Dolphins due to a hamstring injury and did not return to the contest.
To say this is troubling would be an understatement, as Kincaid is one of the team's best pass-catchers and is sorely needed for a passing attack that doesn't have many reliable options to speak of.
On Monday, NFL insider Jordan Schultz provided an update that opens the door for Kincaid to sit out in Week 11 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Dalton Kincaid injury update
Schultz reports that Kincaid is considered week-to-week, so there is a strong chance he won't play on Sunday.
"Sources: Bills TE Dalton Kincaid is considered week-to-week with a hamstring injury suffered Sunday vs the Dolphins," Schultz wrote.
The next update should come no later than Wednesday, when the Bills release their first injury report. We would expect Kincaid to be a non-participant when that drops.
Entering Week 10, Kincaid led the Bills in receiving yards, but he has since been surpassed by Khalil Shakir. The third-year tight end is also on pace to smash his career-best mark of 673 receiving yards after tallying 448 in eight games.
The good news is, Kincaid doesn't have a significant injury, so there's that. The bad news is that losing him would be a serious problem for Josh Allen and the Bills' passing attack, as Shakir will be the lone reliable target left standing.
If Kincaid can't go, the Bills will have to lean more on Dawson Knox and rookie Jackson Hawes, but neither of them offers the kind of skill set Kincaid does.
