The Buffalo Bills have dropped their second-to-last injury report of the week on Thursday and it provided us the latest update on tight end Dalton Kincaid.

After not practicing on Wednesday afternoon due to a knee injury, Kincaid was a non-participant again on Thursday on the team's estimated injury report, which would normally make us concerned that the veteran tight end might not suit up.

However, Kincaid followed this exact same path last week before turning in a full session on Friday and playing, so we aren't pushing the panic button yet.

We already knew this was coming, as Bills head coach Sean McDermott made it clear the team would manage Kincaid's knee injury for the foreseeable future.

"We're trying to manage him because of his knee," McDermott said. "He's dealing with the knee. It's basically week to week, day to day, trying to get him into a spot where's he's as fresh as possible for the games."

Kincaid has battled a few injuries this season, including hamstring and oblique issues that have forced him to miss multiple games.

It's understandable why the Bills want to take it easy with their tight end.

The Bills lack reliable pass-catchers in their offense for quarterback Josh Allen and desperately need Kincaid on the field for the stretch run of the season and the postseason after that.
