The Buffalo Bills know the gravity of their situation against the New England Patriots; if they lose, the division will be handed to their rivals.

That is plenty of motivation, and Sean McDermott's team gave up a touchdown on the opening drive to Drake Maye.

Now needing to respond, Josh Allen would no doubt look for his young tight end Dalton Kincaid.

But on Buffalo's first drive, Allen didn't even look Kincaid's way; instead, Brandin Cooks got the first target before a James Cook run and then an incomplete pass.

So, Kincaid didn't get involved early as the Bills are down early.

Bills needing response vs. Patriots

It is all hands on deck for the Bills as they try to stop the Patriots from sweeping them in the season series to clinch the division.

Having been the bullies of the AFC East for the past five years, that appears to be coming to an end, at least this year, with New England being one of the most consistent teams in football throughout the year.

Now, the Bills need all their offensive weapons to come to the party to avoid what would be an embarrassing season sweep at the hands of their rivals.

And getting Kincaid involved to help with that might be a good idea.
