The Buffalo Bills' secondary is in need of more upgrades before the offseason is over. They still need a second cornerback to start opposite of Christian Benford, and they could use more depth at the position as well.

One player we know won't be making a return to the Bills is safety Mike Edwards, who has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. Edwards signed a one-year deal with the Bills ahead of the 2024 season before he requested his release due to lack of playing time. He ended up joining the Tennessee Titans briefly and played five games for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before hitting the open market this offseason.

Edwards was drafted in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Buccaneers, helping them win a Super Bowl in 2020. He joined the Chiefs in 2023, appearing in all 17 regular season games and helping them defeat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.
