Can Bills clinch playoffs with a win in Week 16? image

The Buffalo Bills, for most, are certainties to make the postseason at 10-4, but their ticket isn't punched yet.

As we approach Week 16, the Bills have to deal with the Cleveland Browns in what will be anything but an easy game, as Myles Garrett and Co. Are coming to collect Josh Allen's soul.

Keeping the AFC East battle alive last week with a win over the New England Patriots, the Bills know that any slip-up will be costly.

But with a win against the Browns, and then either the Indianapolis Colts or Houston Texans lose, the Bills will secure their spot in the tournament.

“I think that's obviously to accomplish everyone's main goal, got to make the playoffs and giving yourself a chance to win the lottery,” Allen said. “That's your ticket right there is getting into the playoffs. I honestly don't know what the chances of us clinching, I haven't looked any of that up.

"All we're focused on is trying to put a good week together, a good game plan and play against a really good team.”

Allen doesn't want to be a part of Garrett's sack record

With Garrett on 21.5 sacks, Myles needs one more sack to tie the NFL record, and then any sack after that will mean he has the record to himself.

Myles has had a superb season by any metric you want to use, but make no mistake, Allen doesn't want to be a part of history this week.

“I do like highlight tapes, but I don't like being a part of other people's highlight tapes,” Allen said.

With the Bills having a big carrot dangling in front of them, it will be interesting to see how the team approaches the Week 16 contest. Plus, the AFC East is still within reach, so there is a lot on the line for Buffalo this week.

And for Allen, he doesn't want any part of being involved in Garrett's record attempt...and we don't blame him.
