The Buffalo Bills are 3-0 following a win over the Miami Dolphins on Thursday Night Football. The win keeps the Bills unbeaten at home against Miami in the Josh Allen era, and also extends a little-known streak for Allen.
The Bills' superstar quarterback is now 8-0 when playing on Thursday. His first Thursday game came back in 2019 when the Bills defeated the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Allen went 19-of-24 with a touchdown, and that was the game where people really began to believe in the Bills and their at-the-time second-year quarterback. Buffalo made the playoffs that season and were defeated in the wild card round by the Houston Texans.
The notorious game-winning drive against the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving in 2022 is one that certainly sticks out. Allen gunned a ball down the seam to Stefon Diggs, who made a catch through contact and set up the game-winning field goal to defeat Detroit.
This most recent win marks the second straight season that the Bills have defeated the Dolphins on Thursday night.
