The Buffalo Bills suffered yet another gut-wrenching loss in the postseason on Saturday, falling 33-30 to the Denver Broncos in overtime. The game was filled with multiple controversial calls that all went the way of Denver.
Josh Allen seemingly completed a pass to Brandin Cooks, at the 20 yard-line in overtime. However, the pass was ruled an interception after Ja'Quan McMillan came up with the ball, despite Cooks knee being down with the ball in his hands. Two pass interference calls gave the Broncos more than 50 free yards and gave them an easy field goal for the win.
Not only did the Bills lose the game, but one of their top assistants appears to have coached his final game.
"One bit of news," Mike Silver reports on X. "Bills OL coach Aaron Kromer is expected to retire following yesterday's defeat. [He] has had a long and impressive coaching career."
Kromer has had two stints with the Bills, the first coming from 2015-16 before he left for the Los Angeles Rams where he spent four seasons as their offensive line coach and also served as the run game coordinator. He returned to Buffalo in 2022.
