The Buffalo Bills' defense had one of its worst performances in recent memory, allowing over 230 rushing yards to the Baltimore Ravens, as well as 40 points. And while the Bills have a somewhat crowded defensive line already, could they make a move for a proven veteran to serve as a depth piece?
The Bills could make a move by adding veteran edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney. The former first-round pick visited the Cowboys yesterday, per Josina Anderson, as Dallas needs help off the edge after trading Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. That said, NFL analyst Chris Trapasso would like to see the Bills swoop in and beat Dallas to the punch.
"Bills should be in on Jadeveon Clowney (And I'm tweeting this knowing full well about their minimal cap space + crowded DE room)," Trapasso posted on X."
Clowney would be a great No. 3, or sometimes No. 2 edge rusher along with Greg Rousseau and Joey Bosa. Considering the latter's injury history, bringing in Clowney would make sense before anything is signed on the dotted line with the Cowboys.
