The Buffalo Bills started the second half off strong, culminating the first drive of the third quarter with a James Cook touchdown run. However, on the first defensive drive, they suffered a bit of a scare.
On a third down deep pass from Tua Tagovailoa to Tyreek Hill, multiple Bills defenders were in the area to force an incompletion. However, Christian Benford was injured during the play, as he suffered a bit of friendly fire in the air and stayed on the ground.
Benford returned to the game on the next drive, so it appears it was nothing serious and he could have just had the wind knocked out of him. The star cornerback signed a four-year, $69 million extension this past offseason.
