The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for their second Thursday night matchup of the season, this time on the road against the Houston Texans. Buffalo is coming off a massive win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, topping the NFC power 44-32 in a back-and-forth game. Now heading to Houston, the Bills will look to get to 8-3 on the season to get within a game of the New England Patriots.
With that in mind, Buffalo will be without three pass-catching weapons on Thursday. Tight end Dalton Kincaid will miss his second straight game with a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 10 against the Miami Dolphins. Wide receiver/return specialist Mecole Hardman will be out after injuring his calf against the Buccaneers, but perhaps the most notable when it comes to eye rolls from the fans is Curtis Samuel.
Samuel has been inactive for four games already, and this will make No. 5 on the season. The Bills gave him a three-year, $24 million deal in 2024. Last season, he caught just 31 passes for 254 yards and one touchdown. This season, he has just 81 yards receiving while making just over $9 million in 2025 - that's roughly $111,000 per yard.
The Bills saw great production from Tyrell Shavers and Gabe Davis on Sunday against the Buccaneers, so expect them to be large focuses for Buffalo's offense on Thursday against Houston.
