The Buffalo Bills rewarded several players with contract extensions this offseason. Josh Allen was given an NFL record in guaranteed money, while Khalil Shakir, Christian Benford, Terrel Bernard, and Greg Rousseau were all given four-year extensions.
Rousseau is one of the more underrated edge rushers in the NFL, but PFF gave him some much-deserved credit in their latest rankings, naming him the No. 14 edge rusher in the NFL.
"Rousseau earned an 82.2 PFF grade in 2024, marking his third consecutive season with a grade of 80.0 or higher," Ryan Smith writes. "He matched a career high with eight regular-season sacks and added two more in the playoffs, making it his most productive NFL campaign to date. The Bills rewarded him with a four-year, $80 million contract extension, including $54 million guaranteed."
As Smith noted, Rousseau is coming off the best year of his career, and could have more opportunities for havoc plays now that Joey Bosa is on the other side of him. Should both stay healthy, the Bills have a very good duo on their hands.
