The aftermath of the Buffalo Bills' 30-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins has been exactly as you would expect -- ugly.

Many have gone after general manager Brandon Beane for not giving Josh Allen more weapons after the passing game again struggled against the Dolphins' defense, and even head coach Sean McDermott was visibly frustrated with the passing game in the loss.

And it appears those frustrations were heard as ESPN's Jeremy Fowler has reported that the Bills have signed a three-time Super Bowl champion to the practice squad -- Mecole Hardman.

Not exactly the earth-shattering news Bills Mafia would have wanted, but at least it is something.

Hardman, a six-year veteran who spent last season with the Kansas City Chiefs, playing 12 games and posting 12 receptions for 90 yards, is still only 26 years old, so there is plenty of gas left in the tank.

Hardman isn't a needle-mover, but he will bring a level of experience that is perhaps needed in Buffalo's receiver room right now.

Bills' AFC East dominance on shaky ground

You could make the case, as things stand, that the Bills' grip on the division is loose and that it is the New England Patriots' to lose.

The Bills are at 6-3, and the Patriots are 8-2, plus Mike Vrabel's team has already beaten Buffalo this season, so they own the tiebreaker.

That means there is at least a two-game gap between the pair, and the Bills would have to beat New England on the road in Week 15 to have a chance at repeating as division champs.

Buffalo was predicted to run away with the division this season, but right now, it is the Patriots looking likely to end the Bills' five-year dominance as the bullies of the AFC East.
