The Buffalo Bills will play their final game at Highmark Stadium in Week 18 when they host the New York Jets. And while they could end up hosting a playoff game depending on how the dominos fall in the postseason, it is very likely that Sunday marks the final game played in Highmark.
Buffalo is gearing up for their seventh consecutive postseason, the longest active streak in the NFL. Before the postseason starts, they have brought back a Super Bowl champion wide receiver, re-signing Mecole Hardman to their practice squad.
"Mecole Hardman Jr. Has been re-signed to the Bills practice squad," Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN reports. "Spot opened up with K Michael Badgley's release as Matt Prater gets healthy."
The Bills released Badgley after two dreadful games that featured two missed extra points. Hardman has appeared in two games for the Bills this season. Considering the continued lack of proven No. 1 receiver in the Bills' offense, perhaps he gets called up to the 53-man roster sooner than later.
