The Buffalo Bills have multiple injury concerns going into Sunday's playoff game versus the Jacksonville Jaguars.
One of those concerns comes with running back Ty Johnson, who is dealing with an ankle injury suffered in Week 18 that led to him not practicing at all this week and drawing the questionable tag.
With just hours to go before kickoff, NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe provided a video of Johnson entering EverBank Stadium on Sunday morning and the Bills running back was sporting a boot.
As Wolfe points out, that is an ominous sign for his chances of suiting up on Sunday.
"Bills RB Ty Johnson arrived to stadium with boot on his right injured ankle. Not a great sign for his availability today vs. Jaguars," Wolfe wrote.
We'll get final confirmation on Johnson's status an hour and a half before the 1 p.m. ET kickoff, when both the Bills and Jaguars release their inactives.
The fact that the Bills elevated running back Frank Gore Jr. From the practice squad on Saturday was a strong indication Buffalo didn't expect Johnson to suit up.
While Johnson operates behind starter James Cook, he has been a key weapon for Buffalo on third downs and in pass protection in obvious passing situations.
The good news for the Bills' offense is this should force Buffalo to lean on Cook more in the passing game.
Cook's lack of consistent usage in that area has been a point of frustration for Bills fans, especially with Cook having a career year in 2025.
