The Buffalo Bills have lost two straight games going into their bye week, and their offense as struggled tremendously. Over the last two weeks, the Bills have scored a combined 34 points after scoring 30+ points in each of their first four games. Additionally, the Bills rank 26th in EPA per play over the last two weeks and 25th in EPA per rush.
Plenty of criticism has flown in the direction of offensive coordinator Joe Brady due to questionable play-calling in big moments - such as a reverse to Elijah Moore on 3rd-and-1 when James Cook, who wasn't even on the field for the play, was averaging five yards per carry.
Brady addressed the media on Tuesday, and he revealed the changes he wants to see from Buffalo's offense, challenging his unit to better execute.
"I hope you see a more efficient offense with higher detail and higher execution," Brady said via Thad Brown. "These last couple games have not (been good enough)... I'm either coaching it or allowing it."
The Bills will come off the bye and face the Carolina Panthers, who are 3-3 and surprising many with how good their run game has been. Rico Dowdle has consecutive games of 180+ rushing yards.
