It's not a problem you want to have the first week of the NFL playoffs.
But it's where the Buffalo Bills find themselves: They might need a new kicker.
Matt Prater re-aggravated his quadriceps injury on Sunday during a kickoff and didn't kick in the second half of the win over the Jets.
The Bills went for 2-point conversions on their touchdowns, and punter Mitch Wishnowsky handled kickoffs.
And now the Bills play Jacksonville on Sunday in the wild card round and it's not obvious whether Prater will be available.
"I'm sure they'll get some films of it and we'll know a little bit more, but, yeah, unfortunate," Bills coach Sean McDermott told reporters Sunday night.

If the Bills need to replace Prater, the options aren't great in free agency.
Buffalo already used Michael Badgley in two games this season, but after a couple missed kicks, he may not be the first option now.
Younghoe Koo is out there after kicking for both the Falcons and Giants this year. He used to be quite reliable but has struggled the last two seasons.
The likes of Cade York and Austin Seibert are out there, too.
And then there's Justin Tucker, who is eligible after serving his NFL-mandated suspension while in free agency. Tucker had a workout with the Saints earlier this season but wasn't signed. The Ravens released Tucker in May as the NFL investigated him for allegations of sexual misconduct that eventually led to that suspension.

The Bills may have to just hope Prater is OK enough to kick, but if he's not, they'll have to dip their toe into the free agent waters.
It might lead Buffalo to be more aggressive on fourth downs against the Jags rather than relying on a less-proven kicker.
It's certainly a storyline to keep an eye on as the first postseason game approaches.
