Josh Allen has developed into an MVP.
When he first entered the NFL with the Buffalo Bills, he was inconsistent. His mechanics weren't great, and his throws were pretty inaccurate. Many of the raw tools were there, but it wasn't clear that he'd ever reach a level close to this.
But in his time in the league, Allen has shown some of the best growth a quarterback ever has in the history of the league.
And last season, he won MVP.

This season has been just a tad bumpier, but Allen's talent is no longer in doubt. Everyone recognizes him as one of the best few QBs on the planet.
On Wednesday, ESPN recognized him for one specific passing skill: arm strength.
ESPN listed Allen as having the best arm strength in the NFL.
"With his elite physical tools -- frame, arm length and hand size -- Allen can rip the ball to every level of the field," ESPN wrote.

Allen always had a strong arm, but he has enhanced it with his mechanical growth.
During the Hard Knocks series in the preseason, one episode showed how Allen works with high-speed, motion-capture cameras to analyze his throwing mechanics. He's greatly changed the way he uses his hips to generate power.
With a great arm on his shoulder already, figuring out how to properly get the rest of his body into throws has made Allen a potent passer, for sure.
