The Buffalo Bills are coming off a massive comeback win over the New England Patriots.

But when they take the field in Week 16, there's a chance they're a bit shorthanded.

The Bills' Thursday injury report didn't provide a positive update on either star tight end Dalton Kincaid or superstar left tackle Dion Dawkins.

Kincaid missed practice Thursday with a knee injury.

Dawkins was out of practice with an illness.

Also not practicing were two expected players: DT Jordan Phillips and kicker Matt Prater.

The Bills are still a game behind the Patriots in the AFC East Division, and it'll likely take winning out to have a chance of catching them.

Any absences won't help that cause, even against the lowly Cleveland Browns.

Kincaid has been one of Josh Allen's most reliable targets this season, so not having him is no fun no matter the matchup. Kincaid had just missed time with a hamstring problem before returning a couple weeks ago.

The main good news at TE is that Allen has bolstered his connection with Dawson Knox in recent weeks, and it seems Knox would be ready for any extra action thrown his way.

If Dawkins didn't heal up, that'd be more concerning. The Bills are going up against Myles Garrett, who is within a sack of the NFL's all-time single-season record in bringing down quarterbacks. Dawkins is one of the best blind-side protectors in the business.

The Friday injury report for both Kincaid and Dawkins will be quite telling, and hopefully have better news for Bills Mafia.
