The Buffalo Bills continued mandatory mini-camp on Wednesday with everyone in attendance. And while this is the beginning of the season for these teams, it's also a time to make sure guys don't overdo it and get injured before training camp.
The Bills had a bit of an injury scare regarding first-round draft pick cornerback Max Hairston, according to Alex Brasky.
"Rookie CB Max Hairston left the field with an apparent injury late during team drills at Bills Wednesday mandatory minicamp," Brasky said on X. "Hairston was worked on by athletic trainers — appeared to be testing the function and strength of his left knee area."
While it doesn't appear to be anything too serious, the Bills are banking on Hairston being an immediate contributor at the second cornerback spot opposite Christian Benford. If he goes down, so too could the Bills once the postseason rolls around.
