The Buffalo Bills got back on the winner's list with a 44-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Highmark Stadium, with MVP Josh Allen leading the way with six total touchdowns.

In a game that the Bills needed to have, while Allen produced a superb game despite his two interceptions, one of which came on the first offensive drive and was a true brain-fade, the Bills were also helped to the win by an unlikely source.

With Keon Coleman a healthy scratch due to missing a team meeting on Friday, others had to step up.

Gabe Davis did with 40 yards from three receptions, but it was fellow receiver Tyrell Shavers who exploded to have a career-best day, posting 90 yards and a touchdown from his four receptions.

Buffalo's deep threat, Shavers, who caught one pass for 24 yards last week in Miami, saw his number called often against the Buccaneers, hauling in four of his five targets on the day.

One was a huge 43-yard touchdown grab after some Allen's dancing magic in the pocket.

Bills get groove back vs. Bucs

The passing game was a big point of emphasis for the Bills, and while it was shaky early, Buffalo and Allen got it rolling as the game went on.

Hanging 44 points on the Buccaneers' defense is one thing, but to do it through the air as Allen did, going 19 of 30 for 317 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions, will please offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

Yeah, the two interceptions weren't ideal, but the passing game looked in better shape, and that was without Khalil Shakir having a single reception and Coleman on the sidelines as a healthy scratch.

Last week was horrible for Buffalo, but it got some credit back for hanging 40+ on the Buccaneers and moving to 7-3, thanks in part to Shavers' career day.
