The Baltimore Ravens were a missed field goal from going to the playoffs.
If Tyler Loop had made his 44-yard kicker at the buzzer in Week 18 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, it would've been the Ravens hosting the Texans on Monday night instead.
Only a few days after the Ravens lost that game, John Harbaugh was dismissed as head coach after 18 seasons.
Would things have been different?
Well, not with how Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti tells it now.
He was asked that very question on Tuesday, whether Harbaugh would still have been the head coach if the field goal went through.
"For a week," Bisciotti told reporters at a press conference.

Based on that, it sounds like the Ravens were planning on getting rid of Harbaugh even if he made the playoffs.
Clearly, a deep postseason run may have changed the math on that, but it seems a one-and-done appearance in the playoffs wouldn't have altered the course of action.
The Ravens had a disappointing season, one in which they entered the season as Super Bowl favorites and instead didn't even make the tournament.
They're now seeking a fresh start. They've still got quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry, among a number of other stars. It's a desirable job for a new head coach with a great chance of winning immediately.
But it also won't be easy to follow Harbaugh. After so much time there, Harbaugh certainly left his imprint on the organization, even if the ending was a bit underwhelming.
