Shocking stat hints at reason for poor form for Ravens' Lamar Jackson image

We know that Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson hasn't been in the best of form over the past month, as the two-time MVP winner has looked like a mere mortal on the field.

Just one touchdown, six total turnovers, and a completion percentage of under 58.6 in every game show that Jackson is in a serious form slump.

But there might be more to it than that.

Some think Jackson is injured, as it is the only plausible explanation for the drop in form, and according to multiple reports, Lamar wasn't at practice on Thursday.

But there is also this eye-popping stat from NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano.

Should fans be worried about Lamar?

To the stat above, you would have to say yes, and looking at Jackson's rushing stats this season, they aren't what we are used to seeing from the two-time MVP winner.

Lamar hasn't had a game where he's rushed for more than 48 yards. Yeah, you read that right.

Last year, he had nine, and in 2023, he had six.

So, Jackson isn't running as much, and according to the stat above, when he does, he isn't making defenders miss as he usually does.

It is being reported that Jackson has an ankle injury, so that might be the key reason for his lack of production as a runner.

Either way, it is worrying times for the Ravens.
