The final moments of Week 18's game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens were pure chaos and, for the Ravens and their fans, pure heartbreak.

After surrendering a go-ahead touchdown in the final minute, Baltimore got an opening when Pittsburgh's Chris Boswell missed the ensuing extra point. The Ravens needed only a field goal to win the game. After a big kickoff return and a huge fourth-down conversion from Lamar Jackson to Isaiah Likely, the Ravens got that chance. Rookie kicker Tyler Loop took the field for a 44-yard field goal attempt. A make would give the Ravens a 27-26 win and the AFC North title. A miss would give the Steelers a 26-24 win and the division crown. The latter scenario happened.

Loop's kick missed, quickly veering right and sending the Pittsburgh crowd into a frenzy. Those at Acrisure Stadium were not the only ones reacting to the loss.

Those watching the game had strong reactions to the ending, as well.

"This is why you don't draft kickers," Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore said.

"That's why I don't talk to 'em, they do s*** like that," longtime NFL running back LeSean McCoy said of kickers in a video shared by Emmanuel Acho.

"Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson performed at the highest level in the clutch. The kickers not so much," longtime NFL reporter Ed Werder said

"Ravens just got thrown for a Loop. I don't envy this kid on the plane ride home," Skip Bayless said.

No game is ever decided on one play alone. It's a 60-minute game, after all. That said, it's going to be hard for Loop and the Ravens to live this one down.
