It has been some day for the Baltimore Ravens.
Still coming to terms with their loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers that ended their season, news came through that offensive coordinator Todd Monken, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, has been requested to interview for the Cleveland Browns head coach role.
Then, hours later, head coach John Harbaugh, who has held that title for 18 years, was fired.
So, two key coaches could be on the move this offseason in Baltimore as the fallout from a horror 2025 season continues.
Monken, who has been the offensive coordinator for three seasons, could now be on the move but staying in the AFC North.
Winds of change hitting Ravens hard
Just a few days ago, the Ravens had a shot at being in the playoffs by beating the Steelers.
Fast forward to now, and the Ravens have had their season ended, Harbaugh has been fired, and Lamar Jackson might lose his offensive coordinator.
That is a savage fallout if I've ever seen one.
Now, the real work begins, firstly to get Harbaugh's successor.
And secondly, looking at potential offensive coordinators in case Monken moves on.
It has been a busy day for the franchise, and it shows no signs of slowing down.
