The Baltimore Ravens went deep into their bag of tricks.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson lined up at running back.

Tight end Mark Andrews set up as quarterback.

And the new QB/RB combo worked.

Here's the play:

The key to this play is what the Ravens often run out of this set. When they run a tush push type set, it's usually with Andrews as the ball carrier, not Jackson.

That's why the defense is so loaded up to defend the run straight ahead.

And so for the Ravens to pitch the ball to an athlete like Jackson worked out very well.

It was a key spot, too. Baltimore went down and capped off its drive with a 1-yard rushing TD from Justice Hill.

The Ravens needed this ingenuity to keep their drive alive, and it worked just the way they drew it up.
