Ravens' Lamar Jackson ready for 'different results' vs. Bengals image

The NFL fixture gods have an interesting sense of humor with the Baltimore Ravens playing the Cincinnati Bengals twice in three weeks.

Having lost 32-14 at home in Week 13, the Ravens, at 6-7, now have to go on the road and win to keep any hope of making the playoffs alive.

That isn't a great spot to be in for the Ravens, and considering that they essentially self-destructed as well, with five turnovers, that makes the desire for retribution even higher.

And for Lamar Jackson, he's ready for a different result on Sunday.

“It's quick turnaround," Jackson said. "Feel like we just played them yesterday, but looking forward to new results, different ending results.”

Ravens' season on the line vs. Bengals?

It certainly feels like it, and especially with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who lead the division, hosting the Miami Dolphins, there is a real chance that Mike Tomlin's team could go two games clear at the top of the AFC North if the Ravens lose.

We saw against the Bengals in Week 13 that Joe Burrow and Co. Can slice up this Ravens defense, and that the Bengals defense can get after you, so Baltimore is going to have to put together a serious four-quarter performance to win.

Let's not forget, this Bengals team had Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on the ropes, and driving to extend their fourth-quarter lead with five minutes remaining last week before Burrow's two interceptions.

So, it will be anything but easy for Baltimore on the road.

Lamar is hoping for a different result, so too are Ravens fans.
