The Baltimore Ravens have a host of decisions to make over the next couple of months. The most obvious is who will replace John Harbaugh as head coach.

And perhaps the next one is what the team will do in the NFL Draft.

With the Ravens having many needs, where should the franchise start? Maybe defensively? Or does Lamar Jackson need another weapon?

For CBS Sports' Mike Renner, Jackson's protection gets an upgrade with Miami's Francis Mauigoa coming to the franchise in his latest mock.

"Francis Mauigoa would likely start at guard early in his career, with the option to kick out to tackle when Ronnie Stanley retires," Renner wrote. "The Ravens simply have to get better at guard, and Mauigoa is exactly the kind of butt-kicker who could make the switch."

Offensive line an obvious need

If you didn't think Lamar's protection needed upgrading, this stat might reinforce it.

Through 13 games in 2025, Lamar was sacked 36 times (10th most). On face value, that doesn't seem like a whole lot.

But that is just two shy of the most ever in his career in a single season...in only 13 games.

Jackson was sacked seven times against Detroit, five times against Cleveland, and four times against Cincinnati. Also, Jackson had a five-game stretch where he was sacked a combined 17 times.

Will Mauigoa help with that? Well, he certainly wouldn't make it worse.
