Lamar Jackson is looking at yet another massive payday.
The Baltimore Ravens' superstar quarterback has earned every penny he's made in his NFL career, and there will be many more to come.
The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec wrote Monday that there's a desired timeline for the Ravens to get Jackson's next contract extension done.
The main reason, Zrebiec writes, is that Jackson's cap number rises to $74.5 million in 2026.
"The Ravens would love to reach an agreement on an extension with Jackson before the start of this season," Zrebiec writes.
The two-time MVP is currently playing under a five-year, $260 million deal.

Jackson's current deal runs through 2027, but if the Ravens sign him to an extension, they can reallocate some of the money to avoid too massive a cap hit.
Jackson, entering his age-28 season, has done pretty much everything an NFL quarterback can do besides win a Super Bowl.
Baltimore has put together another competitive roster that should have a chance at a deep postseason run.
Regardless, Jackson will likely get paid, and it may very well come before this season begins.
If he does, don't be surprised to see an average annual value higher than Dak Prescott's record $60 million per year.
