The Baltimore Ravens know the gravity of their situation, and it isn't good.

Coming up against the Cincinnati Bengals for the second time in three weeks, Baltimore is on a two-game losing streak, and the Bengals smacked them 32-14 in their previous meeting.

Given the offense's struggles, Lamar Jackson's poor play, and the defense looking suspect of late, the Ravens are up against it heading into Week 15.

On NFL.com, five writers pick each game for the week, and when it came to the Ravens and Bengals, four of the five picked the Bengals, including Dan Parr.

"This is something I could regret by late Sunday afternoon, but I think it's time for me to finally quit the Ravens, my preseason pick to win the Super Bowl,” Parr wrote. “The Bengals' own faint playoff hopes were basically dashed by the Bills last week, so it's possible they come out lackadaisical, but something tells me Burrow won't allow it with a chance to deal a rival a death blow.”

Ravens facing monster divisional game vs. Bengals

Yes, there's bragging rights on the line for the Ravens, but far more importantly, the division is as well.

With the Pittsburgh Steelers at 7-6 after beating the Ravens last week, at home against the Miami Dolphins, they could go two games clear at the summit of the division if Baltimore is beaten by the Bengals.

And with only three games left after Week 15, that would mean that, barring some colossal collapse from the Steelers and the Ravens rallying late, John Harbaugh's team would miss the postseason, which is nightmare fuel.

Can the Ravens make NFL.com's writers eat humble pie? If they want playoff football, they have to.
