Lots of NFL players have incentives in their contracts, ways to earn more money based on performance.
There may be no more specific incentives than the ones in DeAndre Hopkins' new contract with the Baltimore Ravens.
These figures are via Spotrac. If Hopkins reaches all four, he earns an extra $1 million. The breakdown for each particular accomplishment isn't listed.
The four numbers:
- 611 Rec Yards
- 57 Receptions
- 6 Total TDs
- 48% Snaps
Want to know how Hopkins got there?
Last season, combined, between the Titans and Chiefs, Hopkins had 56 catches for 610 yards and 5 TDs.
These incentives kick in if he one-ups last year in any of those categories, literally.

In the run-heavy Ravens offense that already features receivers Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, that could be tough.
But Hopkins is taking a nice little bet on himself here, which is pretty cool.
