The Baltimore Ravens added a big name on Wednesday when they signed star cornerback Jaire Alexander, formerly of the Green Bay Packers.
But it came at a cost, because they had to release a talented running back to clear roster space.
Sone Ntoh was the RB cut by Baltimore, according to NFL insider Aaron Wilson. The Ravens had signed the undrafted rookie out of Monmouth to a three-year deal.

Ntoh's college statistics were unbelievable.
He had 165 carries across two seasons and scored 39 touchdowns.
In 2024, he had 25 rushing TDs on just 109 rushes. He scored at least once in every game.
The 5-foot-11, 235-pounder averaged 5.4 yards per carry in his Monmouth career.

It seemed like it'd be a cool opportunity for the bruising Ntoh to learn from Derrick Henry. The Ravens could still eventually bring him back as a practice squad piece.
But for now, Ntoh pays the price for the Alexander signing.
