The Baltimore Ravens are entering their most consequential offseason in 20 years. They fired head coach John Harbaugh, who has since accepted the New York Giants head coaching job, and they will now have to hit a home run with their next hire going into the new league year.
With coaching changes could also come big roster changes, as the Ravens could send some notable names away. One name that has been highlighted as a cut candidate is All-Pro cornerback Marlon Humphrey.
Will the Baltimore Ravens release Marlon Humphrey?
Per Over The Cap, Humphrey is due just over $19 million in 2026. Baltimore's first-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft will turn 30 this July and has no guaranteed money remaining on his contract.
Regardless of his age, cutting Humphrey would come as a massive surprise. While the defense struggled as a whole in 2025, Humphrey had a good season. Per Next Gen Stats, Humphrey allowed two touchdowns and picked off four passes as the nearest defender while allowing a passer rating of just 76.7.
If the Ravens were to move on from Humphrey, a trade would make far more sense than just cutting him, as he is still a player that could go for at least one draft pick.
