Massive trade proposal sends Raiders DE Maxx Crosby to Baltimore Ravens image

The Baltimore Ravens' 2025 season fittingly comes down to a matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers in a winner-take-all prize fight while the loser goes home. It's still up in the air whether or not Lamar Jackson will be under center for the season finale, and it could come down to Snoop Huntley needing to lead Baltimore to victory in a stadium that they have struggled in historically.

Looking ahead, though, the Ravens could make a major splash in the offseason as it pertains to an elite edge rusher. Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report says watch out for a trade that sends Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders to Baltimore.

"The Ravens have typically been good enough offensively when Lamar Jackson has been healthy," Knox writes. "However, their 25th-ranked defense hasn't been playoff-caliber. Getting to opposing quarterbacks has been a particularly big problem, too. Baltimore has logged just 28 sacks as a team, and no Ravens defender has recorded more than four. Adding Crosby to the mix would help the Ravens return to being a legitimate threat in the AFC. As part of the deal, Baltimore could send wide receiver Rashod Bateman to Las Vegas."

In order for this deal to get done, Knox proposes a trade in which Baltimore sends two first-round picks and wide receiver Rashod Bateman to the Raiders in exchange for Crosby.

The Ravens lost star defensive lineman Nnamdi Madubuike to a potential career-ending injury, which has resulted in him playing in just two games this season. Adding Crosby would catapult the Ravens' defense into the conversation of the best unit in football.
