The Baltimore Ravens and Lamar Jackson, for real this time, seem to be looking at some good news.
After a Week 8 false alarm, it sounds like Jackson will indeed be back for Week 9.
The Ravens play on Thursday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins. Jackson is expected to play.
ESPN's Adam Schefter put this post out on X on Monday morning teasing the return:
A week of expected QB returns:

🏈Ravens QB Lamar Jackson at the Dolphins.
🏈Vikings QB J.J. McCarthy at the Lions.
🏈Cardinals QB Kyler Murray at the Cowboys.

Jackson hasn't played since Week 4 with his hamstring injury.
He missed three games (plus a bye week).
Cooper Rush started those first two absences in which Baltimore scored a combined total of 13 points.
The Ravens made the switch to Tyler Huntley for Sunday's game against the Bears, and "Snoop" may have saved the Ravens' season.

Baltimore is still just 2-5. There's a lot of work for Jackson to do.
But that Huntley win at least provided some momentum, and Jackson's return will provide some more.
Maybe there's still a chance for the Ravens to make a historic charge toward the postseason, and with Jackson likely back, they've got the right leader to do it.
