The Ravens believe their Super Bowl window will be open as long as Lamar Jackson is under center, but the last remaining player from their 2012 championship season is no longer part of the roster.
Longtime kicker Justin Tucker was released by the Ravens in May of 2025, ending a 13-year tenure that saw the Texas product become the most accurate kicker in NFL history.
While Tucker was coming off the worst season of his career, the decision came with the backdrop of off-field drama — even if the Ravens deny his release was anything other than a football decision.
Here's what you need to know about Tucker's sexual misconduct scandal and suspension.

What happened to Justin Tucker?
The Ravens released Tucker in May, months after the NFL opened an investigation into allegations that the kicker engaged in inappropriate sexual behavior involving several massage therapists in the Baltimore area early in his career.
Less than two weeks after the Ravens were eliminated by the Bills in January, Tucker was accused of inappropriate sexual behavior by six massage therapists in a bombshell report by The Baltimore Banner. Tucker staunchly denied the claims, but allegations continued to surface in the weeks that followed. At this point, Tucker has been accused of inappropriate sexual misconduct by 16 different massage therapists from eight different spas.
Tucker was released just a week after the Ravens drafted Arizona kicker Tyler Loop, though the team claimed the decision was strictly football-related. Tucker connected on a career-low 73.3 percent of field goal attempts in 2024.
Tucker was never criminally charged, with Maryland's statute of limitations making prosecution unlikely, but he was suspended by the NFL in June after a league investigation.
Here are the details on Tucker's suspension.

Justin Tucker suspension
Tucker was suspended for the first 10 games of the 2025 season following an NFL investigation into allegations he engaged in sexually inappropriate behavior with or near multiple massage therapists in the Baltimore area.
The suspension covers the first 10 weeks of the NFL season even if Tucker remains a free agent. After the first 10 weeks, Tucker is eligible for reinstatement and would be able to sign with any team and play immediately. Had Tucker signed with a team in the offseason, he would have been able to fully participate in training camp.

Is Justin Tucker retired?
While Tucker is out of the league at the moment, he has maintained his innocence and never announced any plans to retire.
Finding his way back, however, might be difficult. Teams might be willing to take the heat for a great player at a premium position — that's what the Browns believed they were getting in Deshaun Watson — but Tucker is 35, coming off the worst season of his career and plays at a position that now can be considered fairly replaceable given the number of high-level kickers in today's NFL.
Whether desperation will lead a contender to reach out to Tucker is to be determined, but he will be eligible to apply for reinstatement on Nov. 11.

Justin Tucker sexual misconduct allegations
Tucker was first accused of inappropriate sexual behavior in a Jan. 30, 2025 report by The Baltimore Banner, which cited claims from six massage therapists. Since then, 10 additional therapists have come forward with similar allegations, bringing the total to 16 massage therapists from eight different Baltimore-area spas.
Tucker, who has been married since 2015, is accused of exposing his genitals to massage therapists and, in some cases, making inappropriate sexual contact. All alleged incidents reportedly occurred between 2012 and 2016, though the claims only surfaced publicly in 2025.
"Five of the women said Tucker asked them to massage his pelvic region or inner thighs while he had an erection," The Banner said in its initial report. "Then they said he repeatedly wiggled his pelvis to remove the sheets, which fully or partially exposed his genitals. Two women said Tucker brushed them with his exposed penis. Three said that when they returned to the treatment room after Tucker left, they discovered a large wet spot on the massage table, which they strongly believed to be ejaculate."

When seven more massage therapists came forward with allegations, the claims were strikingly similar.
Tucker "intentionally and repeatedly exposed his genitals and brushed some of the therapists' thighs with his fingers," according to The Banner, which also reported Tucker "made intense eye contact" while exposing his genitals during one particular massage.
Tucker was banned from two spas, The Banner reported, a claim Tucker and his lawyers strongly denied along with the rest of the allegations.
Tucker's lawyers also provided a declaration from the owner of one of the spas involved, in which she says she never received or suspected any complaints about the Ravens kicker. The therapists from that spa told The Banner that they never reported Tucker's misconduct out of fear they would lose their jobs.
