Fantasy start or sit Week 15: Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, Woody Marks, Stefon Diggs image

Fantasy football managers have some tough start or sit decisions to make this week, including with Houston Texans running back Woody Marks, New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

Hurts, Jackson and Diggs have all struggled of late, sending them from must-start fantasy football options to players you at least have to think about.

Meanwhile, Marks continues his ascension and is now the clear-cut lead back for the Texans, supplanting Nick Chubb.

In what will be the most important week of the fantasy football season for owners, here's some start or sit advice for Marks, Jackson, Hurts and Diggs.

Woody Marks start or sit advice

Marks tallied a whopping 28 touches last week and now fellow running back Nick Chubb isn't expected to play, so Marks should be in for another big workload this week.

And that big workload will come against an Arizona Cardinals defense surrendering the fifth-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season.

Start Marks with confidence as a high-end flex option in Week 15.

Verdict: Start

Jalen Hurts start or sit advice

Hurts is coming off his worst game as a professional in Week 14, which leads to some concern about starting him this week.

However, even with the dismal showing last week, Hurts still ranks as QB6 overall this season and remains a must-start player.

The forecast in Philly calls for lots of wind, which could impact the passing game, but Hurts has multiple ways to score points, including on the ground.

The Raiders are actually better than a middle-of-the-road defense when it comes to giving up fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, but there is nothing scary about this matchup.

Hurts should be in lineups in Week 15.

Verdict: Start

Lamar Jackson start or sit advice

Jackson has been woefully disappointing since Week 9, when he returned from injury.

In that span, Jackson ranks as QB24 in fantasy points per game. If you take out his four-touchdown performance in Week 9, Jackson ranks as QB26 overall.

That showing would typically take most players off the starting radar, but this is Lamar Jackson we're talking about. He can go off at any time and isn't someone who should be on the bench, especially for a fantasy playoff matchup.

Also bear in mind, the Cincinnati Bengals are surrendering the second-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, and the contest against Cincinnati sets up for a possible shootout.

As frustrating as Jackson has been, you've still got to start him this week.

Verdict: Start

Stefon Diggs start or sit advice

Diggs has been quiet the last two weeks, tallying just five catches for 46 yards. In fact, he has only posted decent-at-best showings in all but one game since Week 6.

We're still starting Diggs this week, though, as the Patriots take on the Buffalo Bills in a game that could be a shootout. Buffalo is also in danger of not having top cornerback Christian Benford due to injury.

The Bills are a middle-of-the-road matchup for wide receivers, giving up the 14th-fewest fantasy points per game to the position this season.

It's also worth noting that Diggs posted his best showing of the 2025 campaign against the Bills in Week 5, with 10/146/0.

Consider Diggs a high-end flex option this week.

Verdict: Start
