Derrick Henry accomplishes feat at Lambeau Field never done in NFL history image

It was a historic night at Lambeau Field for Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry.

Henry exploded for 216 yards and four touchdowns on 36 carries on Saturday night in the 41-24 victory over the Green Bay Packers, which also kept the Ravens' playoff hopes alive.

With his 216-yard performance against the Packers at Lambeau Field, Henry broke the all-time record for the most rushing yards in a game by a visiting player at the venue.

But that wasn't the only history Henry made on Saturday night.

With his seventh 200-yard showing of his career, Henry now has the most all time, breaking a tie with O.J. Simpson and Adrian Peterson.

Henry also moved up the all-time rushing touchdowns list, passing Peterson for fourth all time.

Henry is now just one shy of tying Marcus Allen for third, and he needs 23 more to tie LaDainian Tomlin for second on the list, and 42 more to tie Emmitt Smith for the all-time mark.

We would normally say that Smith's total is out of reach for a running back who is set to turn 32 next month, but Henry is not a normal running back as he continues to defy Father Time to stay elite. It's not crazy to think Henry still has a few more years left in the tank.

Going into Sunday, Henry has the third-most rushing yards in the league with 1,469 and is just 20 behind Indianapolis Colts rusher Jonathan Taylor and 63 behind the league leader, Buffalo Bills running back James Cook.

Fans and analysts alike have been frustrated with the Ravens' usage of Henry this season, as he's been rotating with Baltimore's backups more often.

And now you can see why.

Henry showed that on any given week, he can still completely take over games and he remains one of the biggest difference-makers in the NFL.

Now, the Ravens will hope Henry's showing wasn't all for naught.

Baltimore needs the Pittsburgh Steelers to lose on Sunday in order to set up a winner-take-all game for the AFC North in Week 18.

If that scenario unfolds, rest assured the Ravens will try to get Henry going early and often in the hopes he can recreate his historic performance on Saturday night.
